Marriage Conferences coming up in July and October!

We have two great events for married couples this year and if you are married you absolutely need to make time and save some money for one of these events. I can not emphasize that strongly enough. Every married couple should do some sort of retreat together once a year and at the very least once every couple of years. I know before last year it had been a long time we offered anything like this so….The first event is Toward a Growing Marriage on July 26th (more information below) and we will be returning to Glorieta the first weekend in October for the Festival of Marriage.

Toward a Growing Marriage Conference
Saturday, July 26, we will be going to Bellaire Baptist Church for this great one day conference. Some couples attended a similar conference in Dallas a few years ago and said it was great. Dr. Gary Chapman, counselor, pastor, and author of The Five Love Languages, will be leading this so sign up now by calling the church office. This is a GREAT opportunity for you and your husband to spend a day together and looking at how to strengthen your marriage. Important topics that will be taught: Communication 101, Understanding and Expressing Love, Initiating Positive Change, Making Sex a Mutual Joy, and How to Share Things That Bug You. The cost is $100/couple and includes registration, materials, and lunch. We will be taking vans for those who would like to ride together but there are a limited number of seats. You are free to drive your own car and follow us if you would like. The conference begins at 9AM and ends at 3:30PM the same day. Sign up NOW!
